Ógras actively participates in international youth projects that bring young people and youth workers together from across Europe and beyond. Through training courses, youth exchanges and leadership programmes, these initiatives promote inclusion, intercultural understanding, personal development and active citizenship, while creating meaningful opportunities for collaboration, learning and long-lasting connections.

Italy 2022
Pathways to Wellbeing
A European training course centred on promoting positive mental health in youth work, with a strong focus on nature as a partner in personal and social development. Participants explored wellbeing practices while sharing experiences and perspectives, with representatives attending from Ireland, the Netherlands, Germany, Turkey, Croatia and Italy.

Musical Vox Populi
An international youth exchange designed to empower young musicians to use music as a tool for positive social change. Participants collaborated creatively while exploring how artistic expression can strengthen communities, encourage dialogue, and amplify youth voices at both local and international levels through shared cultural experiences.
Caribbean 2022
St. Maarten – No Man is an Island
A leadership development programme bringing together one participant from each of ten countries and organisations. The project focused on leadership skills, intercultural cooperation, and shared responsibility, encouraging participants to reflect on their roles as active leaders within diverse youth and community-based international settings.
Ireland 2024
Humour is Serious Business
A training course hosted by Ógras, welcoming participants from across Europe to explore humour as a proactive methodology in youth work. The programme examined creative engagement, confidence building, and inclusive communication, supporting youth workers in developing innovative and positive approaches when working with young people.
Poland 2025
Only Tolerance
A youth exchange set in the Tatra Mountains, involving participants from Poland, Ukraine, Ireland and Romania. The project focused on promoting tolerance, challenging stereotypes, and addressing hate speech, culminating in an Oxford-style debate and a collaborative theatre performance created by the participants.
