Register for Ógras Trips 2024-2025

Ó am go ham tríd na bliana, ach go háirithe i rith an tSamhraidh agus timpeall ar an Nollag, téann grúpaí Ógras ar thurais lae áitiúil chun bualadh le grúpaí Ógras eile agus gníomhaíocht spraíúil a dhéanamh.

From time to time during the year, especially during the Summer and around Christmas, Ógras clubs go on short trips to meet other Ógras groups and have some fun with interesting activities.

Tacaíonn na turais seo le forbairt féinmhuinín na daoine óga. Spreagann sé rannpháirtíocht agus tugann sé deis do na baill cairde nua a dhéanamh agus a bheith páirteach in imeachtaí nua agus suimiúil, trí Ghaeilge.

Theses trips are designed to support the development of self-confidence in each young person. They stimulate participation and give our members a chance to make some new friends, while taking part in new and interesting activities through Irish.

Tugann siad freisin seans taisteal go cheantair éagsúla. De ghnáth bíonn gníomhaíochtaí fisiciúla nó oideachasúla (agus lón!) i gceist, agus baineann na baill sár-taitneamh as na turais, ag fágáil le cuimhní sonasach agus mothú chomh-muintearais.

They also encourage travel to new places and usually there are physical / educational challenges to overcome - along with lunch of course! Members really enjoy these trips and leave with happy memories and the bonds of a strong community.
